Two separate collisions Wednesday night left a moose dead and a luxury car demolished but there were no injuries in either incident.
In the first collision just before 9 p.m., the driver of a luxury car apparently lost control of the vehicle on an exit to Fowler’s Road in Conception Bay South and crashed into a guardrail.
The car was extensively damaged.
A second collision on the Trans-Canada Highway less than an hour later saw a moose killed but the two occupants of an SUV escaped unharmed.
That crash happened in the westbound lane near Paddy’s Pond.
