For the second time in less than a month, the Marie’s Mini Mart on Dunns Road in Mount Pearl was the scene of an armed robbery.
The incident apparently happened at about 9:30 p.m. Monday night and when the Telegram arrived on scene there were several Royal Newfoundland Constabulary vehicles, including a K-9 unit, in front of the store and police were inside interviewing the clerk.
On November 21, the store was robbed and police arrested a 51-year-old male in connection with that incident.
No information was available about the suspect in Monday night’s incident.
