MOUNT PEARL, N.L. — A single vehicle collision resulted in a significant traffic backup on a Team Gushue Highway offramp over the lunch hour today.

The incident occurred on the Dunn’s Road off ramp in Mount Pearl just after noon and sent two drivers to hospital for medical treatment.

Traffic was delayed for over a half hour as first responders tended to the scene and removed the vehicle. The ramp opened again before 1 p.m.
