Leanne Guzzwell — owner of the local Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo franchise — posted a video on Facebook earlier this week of Little Bird playing by jumping around with a paper towel and squealing in delight.
In just 48 hours, the video has earned more than 3.5 million views and more than 112,000 shares.

“I’ve gotten almost 1,000 friend requests,” Guzzwell posted this afternoon. “I’ve even got a licensing inquiry from a media network in L.A. and tons of requests for more videos of him. Little Bird is famous, hehe.”
Another one of Guzzwell’s pets, a tortoise named Strawberry Shortcake, made the news last year after she went missing outside her Mount Pearl home. Two weeks later, Guzzwell found Strawberry waiting for her next to her front steps.
Guzzwell, who also volunteers with numerous animal rescue groups, shares her home with more than 55 animals, including birds, reptiles, amphibians and arachnids.
