Emergency crews are on scene of a car crash involving at least eight vehicles on Pitts Memorial Drive.
The crash occurred around 4:15 p.m. today between the Kilbride Exit and the Goulds Bypass Exit.
Traffic has been completely stopped in the westbound lane of Pitts Memorial Drive and firefighters, police and paramedics are on scene.
Firefighters have used extrication equipment to remove at least one person from one of the vehicles while paramedics were examining several others.
As of 5 p.m. two people have been taken to hospital.
The extent of any injuries are undetermined at this time.
