St. Johns, N.L. — A woman driving illegally on Cornwall Ave. had her vehicle impounded about 9:20 Wednesday night after policed caught her driving despite the fact her licence was suspended. The woman, 26, was released.

Around 12:45 a.m. this morning a traffic stop in the Newfoundland Drive area saw a 40- year-old man charged under the Highway Traffic Act with no insurance, expired registration, and failure to transfer ownership. The driver was released from custody, however his vehicle was impounded.
