There were no new confirmed cases again in a news release from the provincial government on Sunday.
There are two active cases remaining in Newfoundland and Labrador, with one of those in hospital.
The total number of confirmed cases remains at 261, with the bulk in Eastern Health region at 243. Eight cases were in Central Health, six in Labrador-Grenfell Health, and four in Western Health.
There have been three deaths from COVID-19 in the province.
To date, 14,592 people have been tested.
“Newfoundlanders and Labradorians are reminded to follow the public health orders and directives issued by the Chief Medical Officer of Health,” reads Sunday’s news release.
“In Alert Level 3, individuals should continue to practice good infection prevention and control practices.”
Preventative actions listed in the news release include:
- Stay informed, be prepared, and follow public health advice;
- Wash your hands frequently with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds;
- Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer in the absence of soap and water;
- Do not touch your face;
- Practice proper cough and sneeze etiquette;
- Maintain physical distancing;
- Wear a non-medical mask or face covering when you are in public and unable to maintain physical distancing;
- Increase cleanliness and ventilation of public spaces and worksites;
- Stay home if you are sick and avoid contact with others;
- Work from home, where possible; and,
- Shop online and use curbside pick-up, where possible.
