There were no serious injuries in a moose-vehicle collision early Friday morning.

A van struck the animal in the westbound lane of the Trans-Canada highway just west of Paddy’s Pond. The front end and windshield of the vehicle were extensively damaged and the moose was killed on impact. All the occupants of the van were checked by Eastern Health paramedics but none required hospitalization.  

There were no serious injuries in a moose-vehicle collision early Friday morning.
