Shortly after midnight Saturday, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary patrol services responded to a call of a disturbance at a home in the Conception Bay South area, according to a RNC report.

The report says that during the police investigation, two of the officers were assaulted.

A 34-year-old woman was charged with two counts of assault against the officers.

The report also says one of the officers was treated in hospital but was released shortly after.

The woman was held in the lockup overnight to appear before a judge Saturday morning.
