ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Two teenage boys, 16 and 13, appeared before a provincial court judge after being apprehended while driving a stolen vehicle in the Portugal Cove Road Monday night.
Before midnight, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a report from the vehicle's owners that they had seen their vehicle in the area.
Police located the vehicle on a parking lot and arrested the 16-year-old driver and his passenger, 13, without incident.
The driver was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime, breaches of court orders and being unlawfully at large while his passenger was also arrested and charged with breaching their court orders.
