A pedestrian was injured Saturday night in downtown St. John’s after being struck by a vehicle on Harbour Drive.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Harbour Drive and Bishops Cove. No information was available as to the nature of the injuries but they were not believed to be serious.

Two other traffic incidents Saturday left four vehicles damaged but there were no serious injuries in either of those crashes.

The first collision Saturday morning just before 9:30 a.m. happened between a taxi and a pickup on St. Thomas Line at Lanark Drive in Paradise and left both vehicles with extensive damage.

A second crash in Mount Pearl at about 2:30 p.m. also damaged two vehicles and snarled traffic in both directions near Mary Queen of the World church. That collision happened at the intersection of Topsail Road and Goldeneye Place.
