A 60-year-old man is dead in what appears to be a hunting accident.
Placentia RCMP are investigating the incident that occurred Saturday of a man who had been shot while out hunting around Horses Head on Route 91 near Colinet.
The RCMP and paramedics responded to the call only to find the man had died from his injuries upon arrival.
Placentia RCMP with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Section and Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are all contributing to the investigation.
