Crews from several fire stations in St. John’s responded to a fire on O’Brien’s Hill Farm Road just past 4:30 p.m. Friday. Smoke was very visible in the Thorburn Road area and upon arrival, the first crews from the Kenmount station were met with a fully engulfed shed.
The shed was located in an open farm field and the fire was knocked down fairly quickly by the firefighters. Eastern Health paramedics were also on the scene, but their services were not required.
The incident is under investigation by the RNC.
