Thieves have developed an affinity for outboard motors in central Newfoundland and its drawn the attention of police.
Several thefts of motors from Cottrell's Cove, Phillips Head and Bishop's Falls are currently under investigation by members of the Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP.
Police believe the thefts to have taken place sometime between Sept. 5 and Sept. 10.
The RCMP are asking for the pulbic's help in solving this and are asking anyone with information to contact them at (709)489-2121. People can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
