The RNC’s drug investigation unit in partnership with the RCMP have made the single largest seizure of cocaine in the province’s history, the RNC announced Thursday.

The 13.7 kilograms of cocaine, along with 4,500 blots of acid — total street value estimated to be about $7 million — were seized at St. John’s International Airport Wednesday evening.

Investigators have made one arrest in connection with the seizure and charges are pending. \
