Police receive report of 3 polar bears near St. Anthony

ST. ANTHONY, NL – With another day comes yet another report of polar bears in the province.

This time the RCMP in St. Anthony say they were advised three polar bears were spotted on the ice not far from an area known as Fishing Point.

The bears were heading northwest towards St. Carol’s, according to police.

The RCMP is asking anyone who sees a polar bear to immediately report it to them. The public should also be extremely cautious if they happen upon a bear.
