Police and firefighters were called out to a report of a car that went off the road on the Southern highway near Bay Bulls-Big Pond early Sunday morning just after 3 a.m.
When they arrived on scene however, they found the car over the shoulder of the road but the driver of the car couldn’t be located. A K-9 team was called in to help locate the missing driver but there was no word on whether the search was successful.
It was snowing and roads were wet at the time of the incident.
