Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) investigators are seeking the public’s help with information about a hit and run with a pedestrian on Kelsey Drive.

It happened just before 5 p.m. on Feb. 4.

Officers responded to a report of a collision on Kelsey Drive just North of Kiwanis Street. Police were told a woman was struck by a black four-door sedan and sustained minor injuries.

An RNC news release states the vehicle was turning right onto Kelsey Drive from a parking lot, and fled in the direction of Kenmount Road after the collision.

Investigators ask anyone with dash camera or CCTV footage in the area around the time of the collision to contact the RNC.

Anyone with information can call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be provided anonymously online at nlcrimestoppers.com.
