ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Police say they responded to a single vehicle accident on Prince Philip Drive in St. John’s early Friday evening.

A Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) report states the passenger received minor injuries and was brought to hospital.

However, the report states RNC officers then discovered the driver failed to transfer ownership of the vehicle, and did not have insurance on the vehicle.

The driver was issued tickets for the offences.
