St. John’s, N.L. —The RNC responded to a call of theft in progress from a business in the centre of the city Saturday afternoon.

The businesses loss prevention personnel detected the activity around 2:30 Saturday afternoon.

The suspect fled the store but was located by patrol services on foot.

A 31-year -old woman was charged with theft and a breach of a court order.

She was released to appear at a later date.
