Police trying to find missing Eastport man

EASTPORT, N.L.

The RCMP are looking for a missing man from Eastport.

According to a release, Glovertown RCMP received a report just after midnight on Wednesday, Nov. 7, Gordon Squire could not be located.

The 44-year-old has been missing since 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, and police say there is a concern for his safety and wellbeing.

Squire is described as five-feet, 11-inches tall and 130 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes, and is clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a camouflage FXR coat, dark blue jeans and eye glasses.

The release indicated he is believed to have left the area in a 2008 four-door blue Ford Focus car. The licence plate is unknown, but the vehicle is described as having a broken driver-side mirror and door handle, damage to the front bumper and rust around the quarter panels.
