Eager kids and parents lined up for the Princess and Superhero Pancake Breakfast at the Reid Centre in Mount Pearl Saturday morning.
Hundreds turned out to the event, co-sponsored by The Telegram, to have a nibble — some wearing colourful costumes. Many got to rub shoulders with exquisitely costumed princesses and superheroes. Others were content to sit and have a breakfast munch with a friend.
Mount Pearl Days activities continue throughought the weekend with a 30th Birthday Block Party at Centenniel Square this afternoon and a drive-in movie tonight at The Glacier upper parking lot.
Sunday will feature a community garden party starting 1 p.m. at the Ruth Avenue Sportsplex with music starting at 2 p.m. and running until 10 p.m.
