Helping businesses develop more of an online sales presence is behind a joint effort by the provincial and federal governments to invest $2.7 million in what’s been dubbed the Business Tech Solutions Program.
The program, announced today, is aimed at small- and medium-sized companiesimpacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and to help them adapt to changing times and changing ways of doing business.
This program, which is being being administered by Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Technology and Innovation (NATI), will help businesses purchase digital solutions and access expertise so they can create online sales systems and generate new revenue streams.
“While the COVID-19 pandemic has been extremely challenging, there is an opportunity for businesses to move online, automate processes, and adopt digital capabilities,” NATI CEO Paul Preston said in a news release.
