PUB announces reduction in gas prices for Newfoundland and Labrador consumers

Consumers are getting a break today as fuel prices have been reduced according to the Newfoundland and Labrador Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities (PUB).
The maximum price for gas was lowered by 2.6 cents per litre effective at 12:01 a.m. Thursday.
In addition, diesel fuel was reduced by 1.6 cents a litre, furnace oil by 1.26 cents per litre and heating oil was also reduced by 1.26 cents per litre.
There was no change to the price of propane.
The next scheduled change for fuel prices is set for Thursday, Aug. 16.
