Two vehicles were extensively damaged Sunday morning following a collision at Rawlins Cross.
The incident happened just before 8 a.m. and sent one of the vehicles crashing into, and destroying, an iron fence in front of a nearby home.
One woman was checked on scene by paramedics but injuries were not considered serious.
This is the first weekend since last year that the intersection has had working traffic lights following an experiment that reconfigured the intersection into a modified roundabout without lights.
The RNC is investigating.
