Anthony Farrell Jr. of Marystown, who was wanted on an arrest warrant since Oct. 29, 2018, was arrested Monday, Dec. 10 in St. John’s with the assistance of the Criminal Intelligence Section of the RCMP.

Farrell was wanted in relation to a break, enter and theft that occurred at a business in Burin in October, 2018, where Burin Peninsula RCMP recovered approximately $9,000 worth of stolen property.

He was held in police custody and transported to Marystown and was brought before a provincial court judge on Tuesday, Dec. 11 to face charges including break, enter and theft, possession of property obtained by crime and mischief in damaging property under $5,000.
