The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) released a three-year corporate plan of action today at RNC headquarters in St. John’s.
RNC Chief Joe Boland said the document introduces a new vision and mission statement, as well as core values which demonstrate the RNC’s commitment to building safe and healthy communities.
“The plan also outlines our goals in the areas of partnership and engagement, organizational development and crime reduction,” Boland said. “And how we intend to work toward achieving these goals; and how we will measure our successes.”
In developing the plan, Boland said the RNC engaged its employees, community partners and stakeholders.
He said the RNC’s many accomplishments can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of RNC officers and civilian employees, and the close relationship the force has with community partners and stakeholders.
