The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary conducted a roadside checkpoint in the town of Torbay Wednesday night.
Over a dozen officers checked hundreds of cars entering and leaving the town near RCAF Road.
Traffic was slowed as officers randomly checked drivers for proper documentation and made sure none were driving impaired.
The checkpoint lasted about an hour.
