The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary charged two drivers with impaired driving during separate traffic stops overnight Monday.
The RNC responded to a call of a possible impaired driver just prior to midnight in the east end of St. John’s. A 60-year-old female was charged with impaired driving and failing the breathalyzer.
She was released pending a a later court date and her vehicle was impounded.
At 1:30 p.m., a 24-year-old man was stopped in Goulds and subsequently was charged with impaired driving and failing the breathalyzer.
He was released pending a future court date and also had his vehicle impounded.
