ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — A Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says one of its officers was assaulted after responding to a call for assistance at a west-end St. John's home around the supper hour Monday.
A police investigation on the scene led to the arrest of a 29-year-old woman, during which the assault allegedly took place.
The accused was also charged with two breaches of a court order and will appear before a provincial court judge this morning.
