With the help of police service dog Gunner, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary tracked and arrested a break and enter suspect Sunday night in St. John’s.

Just after 10 p.m., patrol officers responded to the incident in the east of the city and called in Gunner who tracked the suspect down a short time later.

The 42-year-old man will appear in court this morning to face charges of break and enter, possession of break-in instrument, and breach of court orders.
