RNC says motorcyclist ticketed in Kilbride owes $15,000 in fines

According to a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary report, it was just before 10 a.m. on Friday when police officers stopped a man driving a motorcycle in the Kilbride area.

Officers ticketed the man for no insurance, no driver’s license, and for failure to transfer ownership. 

Police say the man owed $15,000 in fines.

He was held at the St. John’s city lockup to appear in court. His motorcycle was impounded.
