The public is being asked to lend a hand in helping to find a missing person.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is searching for Gary Whitten, 63, who was reported missing on July 22, but actually was last seen on July 17 at around 3 p.m. at his home in the centre city area of St. John’s.
He spends his time in the Kenmount Road and Kelsey Drive areas and is described as being 5-8, 170 pounds with blue eyes, short grey hair and a moustache. He is believed to be wearing jeans with black pants over them, a grey sweater, baseball cap and either a black or camouflage design coat.
He may also be carrying a reusable shopping bag for recyclables and may be wearing a large set of headphones around his neck.
The RNC has concerns for Whitten’s safety and wellbeing.
