ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The RNC’s Major Crime Unit is investigating the sudden death of a teenage girl on Sunday.
Police have confirmed they were called to a residence in the St. John’s vicinity to assist paramedics, who had been summoned to the scene.
Officers accompanied an ambulance to the Janeway Children’s Hospital, where a 17-year-old girl was pronounced dead.
An RNC spokesman told The Telegram investigators are working with the province’s chief medical examiner to determine the girl’s cause of death.
