It may look like Santa’s reindeer got loose, but this herd of caribou on the west coast of Newfoundland seemed to just be out a stroll on the Trans-Canada Highway Thursday morning.

This video, taken just outside Deer Lake by Jason White of Harbour Grace, is garnering plenty of attention on social media.

White, a delivery driver for Ice Block of Conception Bay South, said on his Facebook post, “I think Santa’s reindeers are lost on the west coast. Coolest thing I’ve ever seen on the road.”
