A collision between a cube van and a car Saturday morning left both vehicles damaged but did not cause any serious injuries.
The incident happened just before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Southlands Boulevard and Ruby Line and left the truck on a median and a traffic sign on the ground. The woman driving the car was shaken and checked by paramedics but she did not go to hospital.
An afternoon collision between two SUVs also resulted in no serious injuries but several people, including children, were checked at the scene by paramedics.
That incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bruce Street and Kenmount Road and snarled traffic in the area until the vehicles could be removed from the scene.
Both incidents are under investigation.
