The dates for public hearings for the Commission of Inquiry Respecting the Muskrat Falls Project have been identified and will take place over three phases.
The first phase of public hearings will be held in Happy Valley-Goose Bay from Sept. 17-27, with a day off on Sept. 20. They will then move to St. John’s from Oct. 1 to Dec. 14.
Next year, the second phase will take place in Happy Valley-Goose Bay from Feb. 4-15 and St. John’s from April 29 to May 31. The last phase will run from June 17 to July 12 in St. John’s. Summations will follow in Happy Valley-Goose Bay from July 29 to Aug. 2.
The hearings are excepted to run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fridays.
Justice Richard D. LeBlanc is the commissioner for the inquiry.
