CARTWRIGHT, N.L. – Two men were rescued after a boat capsized on Eagle River on July 12.
A third man is still missing.
According to a release, Cartwright RCMP received a call from Cloud Salmon Lodge reporting the incident at approximately 12:40 p.m.
A guide from Eagle River Trout Lodge, who was in the same area, helped rescue the two men.
RCMP officers, community members and employees of local fish camps have all been involved in the search.
Both the Canadian Coast Guard and Canadian Armed Forces have dispatched helicopters as well. Occupational Health and Safety investigators are also on the scene.
