One person was taken to hospital Wednesday evening after the car she was driving overturned in a ditch in St. John’s.
The incident happened on Doyles Road in Goulds at about 5:30 p.m.
A witness told the Telegram the car drifted into the oncoming lane, clipped a utility pole and then rolled twice in the ditch.
The female was eventually able to get out of the car with some assistance from firefighters.
Her injuries were not thought to be serious and the RNC is investigating.
