CORNER BROOK, N.L. — The Corner Brook youth advisory committee has placed signs around the city to spread positivity and kindness.

The “Signs of Hope” campaign is in partnership with the City of Corner Brook and community partners Western Health and SpeedPro.

Funding for the campaign came from TakingITGlobal, the Government of Canada and Canada Service Corps.

TakingITGlobal’s youth-led community service grants are provided to youth who are inspired with ideas and ready to take action.

As part of the campaign, residents of the city are encouraged to find five different “Signs of Hope” signs and take a photo or a selfie with one of the signs and post it to Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #CBKindness. They can also include their own message of hope in the caption.

Participants will be entered in a draw to win one of four $25 gift cards from Brewed Awakening, Harbour Grounds, Birch and Berries, or Best Coast Café.
