A large amount of money was recently stolen from the office of the Boys and Girls Club in St. Anthony.

The club is a non-profit organization that relies solely on donations to assist in providing care and programs for the youth of the St. Anthony area.

The break-in at the club is one of two that the St. Anthony RCMP say occurred in the town sometime between Sept. 4 and Sept. 8. The other break and enter occurred at the St. Anthony Green Depot.

The two incidents were reported to police on Sept. 8. Surveillance footage from the Green Depot shows two individuals outside the business at the time of the break and enter.

The investigations are continuing and police are asking anyone with information to contact the detachment at 709-454-3543 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at www.nlcrimestoppers.com or through the P3 Tips app.
