St. John’s man charged with assault

Shortly before 11:30 p.m. Saturday night, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) officers responded to a disturbance in the centre city area of St. John’s.

According to an RNC report, a 63-year-old man was charged with assault and one breach of court order. He was held for court in the morning.
