St. John’s, N.L. — The RNC’s patrol services responded to a disturbance at a residence in the centre of St. John’s shortly before 4:30 Saturday afternoon.

A 69-year-old male was charged with twp counts of assault with a weapon. He was held at the St. John’s Lockup pending his court appearance Sunday morning.
