A 22-year-old man from St. John’s is facing multiple charges stemming from an incident in the city’s east end around 11:30 Monday night.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary were called to a disturbance which resulted in the man being arrested and held overnight on charges that included assault with a weapon, common assault and breach of court orders.
In another incident from Monday night, the RNC were called to a home in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s where
they arrested a 12-year-old male for assault and breach of a court order.
He was held overnight for court.
