St. John’s, N.L. — A 26-year-old woman who reportedly tried to skip out on paying her cab fare for ride to St. John’s centre will pay the price in court later.
The RNC responded to a complaint of a passenger failing to pay for taxi fare at a residence. As a result of a short police investigation the woman was charged with fraudulently obtaining transportation.
She was released on documents to appear in court at a later date.
