Stolen pickup torched on Ruby Line in St. John’s Sunday afternoon

A stolen pickup was destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon near the Ruby Line pump station in St. John's.
 

A passerby reported the blaze and when firefighters from St. John's Regional arrived on scene, the truck was fully engulfed in flames.

The RNC confirmed the truck had been stolen Halloween night.

The investigation into the theft is continuing.
