ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — A 24-year-old man will appear before a provincial court judge this morning facing charges that include assaulting a police officer and breaches of a court order.
Police were called to a report of an individual damaging property on Water Street. With the assistance of the public, police were able to locate the accused and place him under arrest.
However, the man resisted arrest, uttered threats and reportedly assaulted an RNC officer.
