Suspect in C.B.S. stabbing captured after police pursuit

A stabbing victim in the Seal Cove area of Conception Bay South was brought to hospital with injuries not considering life threatening Saturday night. The RNC responded around 9:35 p.m. The victim was able to identify the suspect, which led police to scour the area. Within an hour police located the suspect who was arrested after a short foot chase.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with assault with a weapon, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and threats.
The accused was held in custody to appear before a judge in this (Sunday) morning.
