A man wanted in connection to three robberies in the metro region this week is in police custody after turning himself in on Tuesday evening.
Michael Follett has been charged with two counts of robbery along with other criminal code offenses.
On Sunday afternoon, the 26-year-old is alleged to have entered the TD Bank on Gibson Street in Mount Pearl with his face partially covered, brandishing a knife and demanding money.
He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Follett is also believed to be connected to a Monday morning robbery at the Needs on Merrymeeting Road and to an armed robbery at the Irving Circle K on Waldegrave Street.
