In an afternoon incident that occurred at about 2 p.m., an SUV and the trailer it was towing overturned in the westbound lane of Pitts Memorial Drive just west of the Ruth Avenue exit. A SUV was left lying on its side while the trailer was upside down and extensively damage. A load of construction materials sat in the grass on the side of the highway. Traffic was down to one lane until the scene could be cleared. A 10 a.m. incident on Farrell Drive saw two vehicles collide in the middle of the road. One woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
